Large Flush Button Does Not Work
The large flush button (full flush) does not activate or produces no result
Identify the model first.
The same symptom can have different causes. Confirm the cistern label, installation generation and applicable manufacturer instructions. Use only safely accessible checks; ask technical support when unsure.

Check the Push Rod (Model 199)
On model 199, the same push rod fault applies to both flush volumes: if the push rod hits the back wall during activation, it cannot complete its travel. Cut the push rod to the correct length.
Check 02
Check the Activation Unit (Model 187)
On model 187, the Schwab documentation identifies a specific fault: the activation unit gets loose. When the activation unit is not properly fixed, pressing the large flush button has no effect because the force is not transmitted to the outlet valve. Solution: press the bridge to the left to block the activation unit securely in place. The documentation shows a bridge assembly with three positions (a, b, c) — ensure the bridge is in the correct position for your installation.

Check the Water Level
On model 187, the documentation also notes that if the filling valve water level is set too low, the large flush may not operate effectively or at all. When there is insufficient water volume in the cistern, the large flush cycle cannot complete. Solution: increase the water level to the maximum 6 litres by adjusting the float position upward.

Check High Design Flush Plate Lever (Model 198)
Model 198 has a unique documented fault: on High Design line flush plates, the lever on the back of the large volume button can go missing or detach. Without this lever, pressing the large button has no mechanical effect. Solution: attach the lever back onto the large volume button. If the lever is broken or lost, contact FLUIDZON for a replacement mechanism.
